I was up for the sunrise on Sunday morning at Lake Wendouree, and though there were no clouds to work with, I found some nice autumn colour remnants. As I was away for all of April I missed the best local colour this year, however there are still a few patches around, and the intensity of the early morning sun really added to the drama. And I also found this young grebe coasting along...the water textures here are pretty amazing!
Later in the day I took the opportunity of the first calm afternoon for well over a week to capture some aerials at dusk of the Ballarat Railway Station and the city from up high.
