In the search for a better autumn header shot we went out to Raeburn Orchards in Roleystone on Monday and although the trees were laden with plums, persimmons and pomegranates, and despite the fact we are almost into the third month of autumn, the leaves of the fruit trees had still not reached their optimum colours 🍂 What we need I was told, is a long stretch of chilly weather to turn the leaves.. won't be happening anytime soon as the temps are climbing back up to 30C for the weekend. Have a peek here, glorious aren't they, these are the pics I'm after. Was still an enjoyable visit, I'm a little embarrassed to say this was the first time I've tasted a persimmon, it was sweet and delicious. Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe..
