On Monday evening a trip up north of Creswick was very productive. With the full moon in just 2 days time, I often find the preceding couple of days also gives you some good chances to include the almost full moon in your images. I knew as soon as I caught a glimpse of the moon above Green Hill at Allendale West that this location was worth stopping for. Using both cameras with different lenses its interesting to see the scale of the moon in the frame, the big zoom lens makes it huge! I have taken many mullock and old gold mine images in this area, this one of the West Berry Consols is one of the best...perfect light, a few sheep and the moon just to top it all off. And I know one day I'm going to catch the jet in front of the moon!
