ROA.. Platypus behind the wire!

Spotted on the wall of the original Foundry building of the old Midland Railway Workshops now the Midland Atelier, an amazing facility, unfortunately closed yesterday (Sunday) when we went in search of this piece by Belgian artist ROA. The platypus, created to look as if it is weaving its way through its natural environment, is the fifth work around Perth that I've shown by ROA on the blog.. there are murals by this amazing artist all over the world, check out his work here and see if you can spot a piece that might be in your city. I can tell you when you come across one it will be an amazing experience.

It wasn't an easy shot, you can see below just how far I was from my prize and probably I should have waited and come back when the facility was open but couldn't be sure when that would be.. and after coming all this way out to Midlands it was impossible to resist a ROA :) A new week begins, happy Monday, take care and stay safe...p.s. did I mention it was storming in Perth last night, rain and all.. luvverly :)
