Had a good trap this morning at home with one of my favourite moths appearing in my garden for the first time - Iron Prominent. Also had yet another Gypsy Moth:

Apple Leaf Miner, 2 Argyresthia goedartella, Bird-cherry Ermine, Acleris aspersana, 15 Light Brown Apple Moth, Dark Fruit-tree Tortrix, Garden Grass-veneer, 11 Agriphila straminella, 2 Agriphila selasella, Chinese Character, Common Emerald, Yellow Shell, 3 Magpie, 11 Brimstone, 3 Willow Beauty, 2 Iron Prominent, Gypsy Moth, Flame Shoulder, 3 Large Yellow Underwing, 3 Lesser Yellow Underwing, 10 Lesser Broad-bordered Yellow Underwing, 2 Square-spot Rustic, Marbled Beauty, Knot Grass, Straw Underwing, Dun-bar, Dark Arches, 11 Common Rustic agg., Straw Dot and 2 Coleophora sp.

96 moths of 31 species.

Also Harlequin Ladybird, Green Lacewing and 4 Common Wasp.

This morning in the house a Garden Carpet, Straw Underwing and I'm 99.9% sure a Willow Beauty. I do struggle with this one and similar species. (Martin Adlam)
