Ravensroost

Location

A trip to Ravensroost today and we managed to get all the common butterflies including a Holly Blue and Purple Hairstreak. Whilst we there a dog walker told us he'd seen a Brown Hairstreak at Sommerford Common, so it was in the car and off.

Once we got there we soon found a Brown Hairstreak, which has to be my favourite of all the Hairstreaks. Also about a few Common Blues and a pair of Silver-Washed Fritillary mating.
