Liddington Hill Area
Location

Highlights from a morning walk around the slopes of the castle were 1 female Ring Ouzel and a possible male, 5 Wheatears, 1 Garden Warbler and a female Common Redstart.

Here are the birds I recorded between 9:00am - 11:00am: 1 Red Kite, 4 Buzzard, Grey Partridge, Red-legged Partridge, Lesser Black-backed Gull, Wood Pigeon, Skylark, Meadow Pipit, Dunnock, Robin, 1 female Common Redstart, 5 Wheatear, Blackbird, 1 female Ring Ouzel, 1 Garden Warbler, Great Tit, Blue Tit, Wren, Magpie, Rook, Carrion Crow, Jackdaw, Chaffinch, Linnet, Goldfinch, Corn Bunting and Yellowhammer.

Also 5 Roe Deer and 10 Rabbits

The ridgeway in the distance, the slopes below held 5 Wheatear (Here)and in the hedgerow on the right there was a Garden Warbler (Here).

On the way back to the car at Folly Farm I followed this female Redstart up the track Here

A pair of Goldfinches

One of the 5 Roe Deer on the slopes, this one ran straight at me, before she realised I was stood in front of her.

A doe and a buck Roe Deer.
