Cleveland Lakes Nature Reserve
Location

That was one amazing morning on the Reserve between 5:20am - 9:00am. The main highlight had to be the female Marsh Harrier on the ground, which I spooked when I walked around a bend along the track. That was at 6:00am and I saw her again at 7:28 before she was harassed by large gulls and disappeared from view around 8:15am. Other highlights were 1 Common Sandpiper, 2 Great Black-backed Gulls, 2 Common Tern, 2 Cuckoos, a Kingfisher, Reed Warbler, Sedge Warbler and Lesser Whitethroat. In total I recorded 69 species
