Highlights of an early and very cold (2.4°C) visit to the Reserve (5:20am - 7:10am) were 1 Cormorant, 1 Oystercatcher, 5 Curlew, 1 Stonechat, and 2 Lesser Whitethroat. Also 3 Roe Deer and 4 Hare

Location
Highlights from Twitchers Gate (7:20am - 8:30am) were 5 Red-crested Pochard, 3 Lapwing, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 adult Great Black-backed Gull, 1 Cuckoo, 1 Nightingale, 2 Lesser Whitethroat and a Raven attempting to raid the Black-headed Gulls nests on the floating rafts.
