It was a grey day when I took these shots, grey but not cold.. about 21C if I remember rightly. You don't see South of the river here very often but coming back from Victoria Park on Saturday we stopped to get some city views over the lakes on the South Perth foreshore. If you pull the shot below right in, reeeally right in :) you can just make out the new sculpture at Elizabeth Quay. I believe they have big problems here with people feeding the bird life on the lakes resulting in sick and even dying birds, there are signs everywhere.. don't do it people!
In the background below you can see the Narrows Bridge which crosses from North to South over the Swan River.. and up there on the hill the State War Memorial in Kings Park. It's definitely spring weather here in Perth.. rain one day sun the next. Perfect weather for planting trees, I'll have to decide soon :) Happy Wednesday, take care and stay safe... p.s. so weird to post such dark images :)
