A huge contrast from Thursdays brilliant colours to Fridays dark and gloomy conditions. I visited 2 different lakes after noticing after my run around Lake Wendouree after lunch that there was some great clouds around, and how nice and calm it was.
First stop was out at Lake Burrumbeet where that long, smooth surface gave me this great reflection, and also one with the big zoom lens. On the way home I made a stop at Lake Wendouree for a few images over the islands on the west side. The trees are just clinging to a bit of colour amongst the many egrets, and further out there are some nice patches of colour in the wetlands part of the lake. Dark, gloomy conditions often bring out some great deep colours as shown in this set.
