The Early Bird......

I'm glad I made the effort to get up early on Sunday morning for a visit to Lake Wendouree. The day didn't really offer too much more and when the rain set in during the afternoon that was it. Whilst the sunrise wasn't overly colourful, the clouds more than made up for it in the pond behind the judges box at the end of the rowing course. Whilst it was still pretty windy, this spot is nicely protected to give me a nice calm foreground.
Sunday's lack of action also give me a chance to post a couple of recent images that deserve an airing....first up is from an early, frosty morning visit to the Devils Kitchen from back in June. Then from just last Friday, another early morning visit to the Lal Lal Reservoir showing where Harris Creek winds it way into the reservoir.
