Update on the Red Kite deaths

I received a call from Brian Wyatt this evening and the theory on the 2 dead Red Kites is that they are 2 young Kites that were raised nearby and that they electrocuted themselves on some nearby high voltage power lines that are very close by and dropped in to the tree.

The carcasses have been present in the tree since last autumn and are apparently well decayed.

So that may well explain that one, however the amount of dead Foxes found is still a concern!
