What do you think? We went to Cottesloe Beach last week to have lunch in the Indiana. I wanted to admire the view from these windows for perhaps the last time but we were too late, it is closed! You can read the history of the Indiana here, there are some gorgeous old black and white photos too. So here's the thing, have a look at the three proposed development options here, what do you think.. one two or three? Yes, I think the Indiana does need a little TLC, it does face directly into the many moods of the Indian Ocean after all.. my choice would obviously be the third, I cannot see one good reason to knock down one of Perth's picture postcard, iconic buildings admired around the world and replace it with something that if it is your preference can be found a few kms away along another popular beach. Then there are the Norfolk Island pines.. one hundred and sixty eight 18inch saplings planted over a hundred years ago, how many of them will go in the name of progress! None I hope if the locals exert people power one more time, fingers crossed. Happy Sunday, take care and stay safe..
