A walk down memory lane..

I took the shot above way back in 2011 when the Perth foreshore was just that, the Perth foreshore, see the big green space and the full view of Bell Tower. The first ground was turned the following year in April 2012 for the future project that was Elizabeth Quay. Below in 2016 the construction of the inlet and the bridge and looking back towards the city..

It was a huge mess for what seemed such a long time, disruptions all round, with as many against as for the project. I seem to remember at first I was against :) same view below as the first shot taken from Kings Park this one in 2018. The last two shots taken this year with the completion of the Towers and the Ritz-Calton. It is incredible how Perth has changed over the last ten years..mostly for the better.
